Heathland at Legends Golf Resort is a European-inspired links course with a wide-open track that presents a visual experience unlike anywhere else in the area. Here’s what you can expect when you choose Heathland on your upcoming vacation:

Designed by Tom Doak, Heathland was molded in the image of the iconic links-style courses you’ll find in Scotland, England and Ireland, and built with fun and playability in mind. Wide-open fairways from almost every tee present generous driving opportunity, and though bunkers are placed throughout the course, there are fewer water hazards than at other facilities in Myrtle Beach (so long as players avoid the stream that meanders its way through the back 9). This lack of water, along with there being very few trees, allows for immense, unobstructed visuals overlooking several holes simultaneously.

As you’d imagine at a links course, Heathland’s greens complexes are some of the largest in the area and feature significant undulations, albeit while leaving room to successfully land and stop shots near the flagstick on the correct tier. With just one par 5 on the back, the par-71 layout is a player’s delight, measuring 6,800 yards from the blue tees and under 6,400 from the white.

In addition, every round at Legends includes breakfast and lunch along with two beverages of your choice, making a round at Heathland one of the best values in all of Myrtle Beach. So, show up in the morning, enjoy your round and hang around afterward as long as you and your group desire.
