Putting the spotlight on the improved Brunswick Plantation in Calabash, N.C.
Golfers choose MBGolf.com, a Condo-World company, to help them book Myrtle Beach stay & play packages at more than 80 Grand Strand golf courses, including at Brunswick Plantation – now a true star of the North Strand following a series of improvements made to the golf course and its surrounding facilities by new management.
Renovations have been made to improve course conditions on all three of Brunswick Plantation’s nines – Azalea, Dogwood and Magnolia – designed by Willard Byrd and Clyde Johnston, two legendary golf course designers especially noted for their work along the Strand. The Azalea layout tests players off the tee with tough angles and the occasional forced carry, while still providing plenty of opportunities to score well when played from the correct set of tees. The Dogwood layout is more open, offering plenty of tempting opportunities to cut corners to shorten doglegs. Magnolia is more open as well and not overly long, making it the perfect nine for those looking to shoot a personal best. Brunswick Plantation should be quite proud of the improvements it has made to the three nines.
Upgrades in the clubhouse include re-carpeted/re-tiled flooring, fresh painting and enhancements in the pro shop, all making a wonderful impression on the Myrtle Beach golf community. See what one person who played after new ownership took over said on TripAdvisor:
“We went there as a foursome and thoroughly enjoyed the course, the scenery and the clubhouse. The view of the clubhouse is spectacular and looks like an old colonial mansion. … Would return there in a minute.”
In addition to all of the changes made related to the golf experience, improvements have been made to The Commons at Brunswick Plantation – the facility’s on-site villas – with a new phone/internet system, a new digital locking system and yplent of upgrades to the units themselves.
