Barefoot Love in North Myrtle Beach is a genuine Carolina gem. Built at Barefoot Resort by North Carolina's Davis Love, a Tar Heel who knows a little about golf, the course carries his name and his integrity.
Carolina native and leading PGA TOUR professional Davis Love, III, winner of the 1997 PGA Championship may have solidified his reputation as a course designer with this creation at Barefoot Resort. Davis was determined to build a course that was impeccable, visually striking and fun to play.
The course even incorporates a replica of ruins from an antebellum plantation house similar to ruins found throughout the South Carolina Lowcountry.
